Share selected records with your accountant
Give your accountant selected financial records without giving them access to edit your workspace or browse your client galleries.
Follow these steps
Open accountant sharing
Open the Share with an accountant panel in Finance. Enter the recipient details and the records-from and records-to dates. Check the email carefully before creating the share.
Select the records
Choose the financial sections to include: invoices, payments, expenses or mileage. Include expense receipts only if they are needed; receipts require the expenses section. Relevant client billing details may appear in the selected records.
Set an expiry
Choose the link duration or custom expiry date, then select Create private share. Access stays within the selected date range and financial sections. It is read-only.
Deliver the private link
Use Copy private link or Email private link. Email requires its separate confirmation and the configured delivery service. The recipient uses the private link and their email address; this is not independent identity verification.
Review and revoke access
The shared view shows current records within the selected range until expiry. Review the share history and use Revoke access when it is no longer needed. Revoking ends the link and its sessions, but cannot recall copies already downloaded.
What to know
- This share does not include gallery media, private workspace notes or provider credentials. CSV availability follows your plan.
- A share is a way to provide records for review. It does not submit a tax return, reconcile a bank account or approve tax treatment.
